Course Analysis Summary
:

This study found that only 27.4% of all relevant courses explored time and human capital within the non-profit sector. More specifically, 1.9% explored paid staff only; 12.3% explored non-paid (volunteer) staff only; and 13.1% explored with both paid and non-paid staff. The remaining 72.6% were found to explore either i) money and financial capital or, ii) internal capacity and external operations.

During the research methodology each program was classified as one of four types; part-time, full-time, continuing education or distance education. This study found that majority (72%) of the programs were classified as continuing education. Part-time programs represented approximately 31% and full-time programs represented 34%. Only 6 programs (21%) out of the 29 in total were considered Distance Education.
